(Kuala Lumpur): On 23-27 October, 2023, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with the high permission of Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, His Excellency RATH Saravuth, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, attended the Malaysia Strategy Trade Summit 2023 on Southeast Asia Forum on "Regional Export Control".

The forum is co-organized by the Ministry of Investment, Trade, and Industry of Malaysia, the US Department of State and the Department of Commerce to share best practices and knowledge on the legal framework for all strategic goods related to national security and defense in the region and the world.

On the occasion of participating in the above forum, His Excellency RATH Saravuth, Secretary of State, accompanied by officers from the General Department of Customs and the Secretariat of National Counter Terrorism Committee, also met with three institutions, including the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the United States (PDAS), The US Bureau of Industry and Security in Singapore (US BIS), and the EU delegations from the EU Partnership 2 Partnership (EU P2P), to mobilize and discuss cooperation in the implementation of projects under the auspices of the EU, the Department of Commerce, and the Department of State.
