(ទីក្រុងហ្សឺណែវ សហព័ន្ធស្វីស)៖ នាព្រឹកថ្ងៃអង្គារ ទី៧ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៤ នៅទីស្នាក់ការអង្គការកម្មសិទ្ធិបញ្ញាពិភពលោក (WIPO) នៅទីក្រុងហ្សឺណែវ លោកជំទាវ ចម និម្មល រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្ម និងគណៈប្រតិភូកម្ពុជា បានជួបពិភាក្សាការងារជាមួយ ឯកឧត្តម Daren TANG អគ្គនាយកអង្គការ WIPO ដើមី្បពិភាក្សាការងារស្ដីពីកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការងារនានា។ នៅក្នុងជំនួបនេះ លោកជំទាវរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី បានថ្លែងអំណរគុណចំពោះអង្គការ WIPO សម្រាប់ការគាំទ្រកម្ពុជាតាំងពីកម្ពុជាចូលជាសមាជិករបស់អង្គការនេះនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៩៥។ លោកជំទាវរដ្ឋមន្ត្រីបានបញ្ជាក់ថា កម្ពុជាយល់ពីសារៈសំខាន់នៃកម្មសិទ្ធិបញ្ញាក្នុងការជំរុញពាណិជ្ជកម្ម ក្នុងនោះរួមមានពាណិជ្ជកម្មទំនិញ សេវាកម្ម ការជំរុញធុរកិច្ចថ្មី និងសហគ្រាសមីក្រូ តូច និងមធ្យម និងវិនិយោគផ្ទាល់ពីបរទេស ការជំរុញនវានុវត្តន៍ និងការស្រាវជ្រាវនិងអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ តាមរយៈការផ្ទេរបច្ចេកវិទ្យាជាដើម។  

ឯកឧត្តមអគ្គនាយក បានអបអរសាទរកម្ពុជាសម្រាប់កិច្ចខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែង ជាពិសេសក្នុងការចូលរួមលើកកម្ពស់កម្មសិទ្ធិបញ្ញានៅកម្ពុជានិងក្នុងតំបន់សម្រាប់ការអភិវឌ្ឍសេដ្ឋកិច្ច សង្គម និងវប្បធម៌។ ជាមួយគ្នានេះ ឯកឧត្តមបានលើកសរសើរពីវឌ្ឍនភាពនៃការធ្វើទីផ្សារទំនិញសម្គាល់ភូមិសាស្រ្តទំនិញ និងការវេចខ្ចប់មានការទាក់ទាញ ដែលបានប្រែក្លាយផលិតផលទាំងនោះក្លាយជាផលិតផលប្រណិត រួមមាន ផលិតផលម្រេចកំពត អំបិលកំពត-កែប ទឹកឃ្មុំមណ្ឌលគីរី។ល។ បន្ថែមពីនេះ ឯកឧត្តមអគ្គនាយកបានស្នើឱ្យកម្ពុជាចូលរួមអនុវត្តគម្រោងកម្មសិទិ្ធបញ្ញាមួយចំនួន ដែលមានរយៈពេល ៨-១២ ខែ ជាមួយក្រុមគម្រោងពិសេសរបស់អង្គការកម្មសិទិ្ធបញ្ញាពិភពលោកក្នុងការជំរុញពាណិជ្ជកម្មតាមរយៈកម្មសិទិ្ធបញ្ញា។

បានឆ្លៀតឱកាសនោះ លោកជំទាវរដ្ឋមន្រ្តី បានស្នើឱ្យមានការជួយពិនិត្យនិងធ្វើវិសោធនកម្មច្បាប់ស្តីពីពាណិជ្ជសញ្ញា ការអនុវត្តគោលនយោបាយកម្មសិទិ្ធបញ្ញា គម្រោងកម្មសិទិ្ធបញ្ញា ការផ្សព្វផ្សាយពីអត្ថប្រយោជន៍កម្មសិទិ្ធបញ្ញាដល់សមាគមកសិកម្ម សមាគមធុរកិច្ច និសិ្សតសកលវិទ្យាល័យ។ល។

Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce met with His Excellency Daren TANG, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

(Geneva, Switzerland): In the morning of Tuesday, 7 May 2024, at the World Intellectual Property Organization Headquarters (WIPO), Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, and the Cambodian delegation met with His Excellency Daren TANG, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Her Excellency Minister expressed her sincere appreciation to WIPO for providing continued support to Cambodia since the country’s accession to WIPO, dated back in 1995. Her Excellency Minister also emphasized the importance of intellectual property in strengthening trade in goods and services, establishing new startups and MSMEs, FDIs, innovations, research, and development through technological transfer, among others.

In response, His Excellency Director General congratulated Cambodia for its efforts, especially in contributing to strengthening intellectual property in Cambodia and the region for economic, social, and cultural development. In addition, His Excellency Director General commenced Cambodia's progress in IP commercialization, such as attractive packaging and marketing of its Geographical Indication (GI) products, which has transformed those products into premium products for the market, for example, Kampot Pepper, Kompot Kep Salt, Mondulkiri Wild Honey, etc. Additionally, His Excellency Director General requested Cambodia implement IP-related projects (8–12 months) with the special projects team of WIPO with the aim of enhancing trade promotion through IP.

Her Excellency Minister requested WIPO to support Cambodia on the amendment of trademark laws, the implementation of IP policy and IP related projects, and dispersing IP related knowledge and experiences to farmer associations, business associations as well as university students.
