(ទីក្រុងហ្សឺណែវ សហព័ន្ធស្វីស)៖ នាព្រឹកថ្ងៃអង្គារ ទី៧ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៤ នៅទីស្នាក់ការអង្គការពាណិជ្ជកម្មពិភពលោក (WTO) ប្រចាំទីក្រុងហ្សឺណែវ លោកជំទាវ ចម និម្មល រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្ម និងគណៈប្រតិភូកម្ពុជាបានជួបពិភាក្សាការងារជាមួយ លោកបណ្ឌិត Ratnakar Adhikari នាយកប្រតិបត្តិ លេខាធិការដ្ឋានកម្មវិធីពង្រឹងក្របខណ្ឌសមាហរណកម្ម (Enhanced Integrated Framework-EIF) នៃអង្គការ WTO និងលោក Aik Hoe Lim នាយកផ្នែកពាណិជ្ជកម្ម និងបរិស្ថាននៃអង្គការ WTO។   

ក្នុងជំនួបនេះ បានលើកឡើងពីសមិទ្ធិផលសំខាន់ៗរបស់ EIF និងការគាំទ្រនាពេលបច្ចុប្បន្ន ដើម្បីបង្កើតក្របខ័ណ្ឌគោលនយោបាយពាណិជ្ជកម្មកម្ពុជាឆ្ពោះទៅឆ្នាំ២០៣០ ដែលក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្មបាននិងកំពុងដឹកនាំក្នុងការរៀបចំក្របខ័ណ្ឌគោលនយោបាយពាណិជ្ជកម្មសម្រាប់កម្ពុជា ស្របតាមយុទ្ធសាស្ត្របញ្ចកោណដំណាក់កាលទី១ របស់រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជា និងសម្រាប់ការចាកចេញពីក្រុមប្រទេសអភិវឌ្ឍន៍តិចតួចនាពេលខាងមុខ។

បន្ថែមពីនេះ លោកជំទាវរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី ក៏បានលើកឡើងផងដែរថា បច្ចុប្បន្ននេះក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្មបាននិងកំពុងរៀបចំបង្កើតគណៈកម្មាធិការជំនួយពាណិជ្ជកម្ម សម្រាប់ការសម្របសម្រួលកាន់តែប្រសើរជាមួយម្ចាស់ជំនួយ និងដៃគូអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ ដើម្បីប្រើប្រាស់ធនធានសម្រាប់ការអនុវត្តក្របខ័ណ្ឌគោលនយោបាយពាណិជ្ជកម្មកម្ពុជាក្នុងគោលបំណងអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ពាណិជ្ជកម្ម។

ជាកិច្ចឆ្លើយតប លោកបណ្ឌិត Adhikari បានស្វាគមន៍គណៈប្រតិភូកម្ពុជា និងបានកោតសរសើរដល់កម្ពុជា ក្នុងការអនុវត្តគម្រោង EIF ប្រកបដោយប្រសិទ្ធភាព។ លោកក៏បានលើកឡើងអំពីការគាំទ្រ EIF លើការបង្កើតក្របខណ្ឌគោលនយោបាយពាណិជ្ជកម្មកម្ពុជាផងដែរ។ ក្នុងឱកាសនោះលោក Lim នាយកផ្នែកពាណិជ្ជកម្មនិងបរិស្ថាននៃ WTO បានជម្រាបផងដែរថា លេខាធិការដ្ឋាន WTO និងធនាគារអភិវឌ្ឍន៍អាស៊ី (ADB) បានចុះហត្ថលេខាលើឯកសារអនុស្សរណៈនៃការយោគយល់គ្នា (MoU) មួយដើម្បីជំរុញការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ប្រកបដោយបរិយាប័ន្ន និងនិរន្តរភាព តាមរយៈសមាហរណកម្មពាណិជ្ជកម្ម និងសេដ្ឋកិច្ចនៅក្នុងតំបន់អាស៊ី-ប៉ាស៊ីហ្វិក និងបានត្រៀមខ្លួនជាស្រេចសម្រាប់កិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការនានា។

(Geneva, Switzerland): In the morning of Tuesday, 7 May 2024, At World Trade Organization Headquarters in Geneva, Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, and the Cambodian delegation met with Dr. Ratnakar Adhikari, Executive Director of the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF) and Mr. Aik Hoe Lim, Director of Trade and Environment of the World Trade Organization (WTO).

The meeting focuses on key achievements and outcomes of the EIF past intervention and current support to formulate Cambodia Trade Policy Framework Towards 2030 which the Ministry of Commerce is taking the lead to design trade policy frameworks for Cambodia in line with the Pentagonal Strategy Phase 1 of the Royal Government of Cambodia and to prepare for the upcoming LDC graduation.

Her Excellency Minister also mentioned that the Ministry of Commerce is currently working on establishing the Aid for Trade Committee with the aims to better coordination with donors and development partner to leverage resources for implementing the Cambodia Trade Policy Framework and for trade development purposes.

In response, Dr. Adhikari welcomed Cambodian delegation to the WTO and commenced Cambodia for implementing EIF projects effectively. He also mentioned the EIF support on the formulation of Cambodia Trade Policy Framework. Mr. Lim, Director of Trade and Environment of the WTO mentioned that the WTO Secretariat and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has signed an MoU to drive inclusive and sustainable development through trade and economic integration, including in Asia and the Pacific region, while stands ready to support Cambodia if needed.
